The Principles of Neurological Rehabilitation : Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

For any support staff working with clients with an ABI, an understanding of the principles of a rehabilitative approach is vital. In this Masterclass we will discuss key strategies to improve a client’s insight and awareness into their deficits.

We will Introduce the therapy techniques of errorless learning and backward chaining with everyday activities as well as how to practically manage the disinhibited or agitated client. SMART goal setting will be introduced to ensure the entire support team are understanding of this approach.
